Paste the insurer illustration into the year-by-year grid. There is no file import and no upload button. Dollar signs and commas are removed when you paste.
Add an existing personal policy
Open the client's Evaluation.
In Preliminary → Life Insurance, select Personal Permanent (UL, WL, Term 100). Insurance stays closed until this is selected.
Open Insurance → Permanent Life Insurance.
Enter Death Benefit and Cash Surrender Value. The grid appears once both are filled. For a policy other than Term 100, Cash Surrender Value must be at least $1 or the form shows CSV should be at least $1.
Paste each column from the illustration. The columns are Year of Policy, Year, Annual Premium, Cash Surrender Value, Death Benefit, Adjusted Cost Base, and NCPI.
Save.
Add an existing corporate policy
Corporate permanent life is on Pro, and only after private shares are saved. Corporate Permanent (UL, WL, Term 100) stays unavailable until those shares exist.
In Preliminary, select Corporate Permanent (UL, WL, Term 100).
Open the corporation, then Permanent Life Insurance.
Use the same grid. Extra fields: Corporation is beneficiary of policy and Assumed distribution on dividend payout.
Save.
Premiums on a corporate policy show on the corporation, not on the personal Cash Flow Summary.

What you want | Toggle | Category |
A new personal policy | New Personal Permanent Life Insurance Policy | Sale/Purchase of Assets |
A new corporate policy | New Corporate Permanent Life Insurance Policy | Corporate |
A change to a policy already saved | Permanent Life Insurance Adjustment | What If |
Permanent Life Insurance Adjustment locks the policy and lets you edit the grid. Source of premiums, including Cash Flow/Deficiency Order, appears when shown.
If premiums are missing from Cash Flow Summary
Personal cash flow reads Annual Premium from the grid for that calendar year. The rows are Client Permanent Life Insurance Premiums and Total Permanent Life Insurance Premiums.
Those rows stay empty when:
The corporation owns the policy.
That year's Annual Premium is blank or zero. This is the usual reason an illustration does not show in cash flow.
Premium status is fully paid, which sets the annual premium to 0.
What to enter, and whether the policy fits the client, stays with the advisor.
