Understanding the Evaluation, end to end

Review Preliminary, the Evaluation sections shown for the client, and visible progress before planning.

The Evaluation records the client's financial information. Start in Preliminary, complete the sections that apply, and review the saved information before using it in planning.

Open the Evaluation

From the Client Dashboard, open Evaluations and choose the applicable Core or Pro Evaluation. The Evaluation opens in Preliminary.

Complete Preliminary

Preliminary shows the available choices used to organize the Evaluation for the client.

Your selections determine which sections and subsections appear.

Review the choices shown, then check which sections become available. Do not assume that every workspace or Evaluation type presents the same choices or sections.

Complete the available sections

Open each available section and enter the client's information. Common sections include:

  • Savings

  • Income

  • Real Estate and Real Estate Debt

  • Insurance

  • Unique Assets

  • Estate Planning

  • Corporations and Family Trusts, where applicable

  • Spending, when shown

Open each section that applies, complete only the visible fields, and use a save control when one is shown. Available Savings or Unique Assets choices can differ, so use the labels in the current Evaluation rather than a fixed inventory.

If a section is missing, return to Preliminary and review the available choices. The section may also depend on the Evaluation type, workspace, or household information. Record the visible state before contacting Planworth Support.

Review progress

Each Evaluation section shows progress for the fields that apply to the client and Evaluation type. 100 percent and a checkmark mean the section's completion rules have been met, including answers such as no accounts held. They do not mean that every possible detail has been entered.

For Corporations and Family Trusts, completing General Info can bring the section to 100 percent even when other subsections remain. You can also continue without every section at 100 percent. When a Review step is shown, use it to check for missing information before finishing the Evaluation.

Use the information

After reviewing the Evaluation, open the area needed for the next task:

  • Statements for available current-position views.

  • Wealth Insights for the visible roadmap.

  • Financial Insights for scenario-based planning.
