How to give an existing client access to Planworth services

Use Add Services For Client to select the portal services and advisor scenarios an existing client can access.

Use Add Services For Client to select the portal services and advisor-created scenarios an existing client can access.

Before you begin

  • The client must appear in Client Discovery → Client Invites.

  • Decide which services and advisor scenarios the client should receive.

Grant services

  1. From the Advisor Dashboard, open Client Discovery.

  2. Find the client in Client Invites.

  3. Open the Client Services gear and select Add Services For Client.

  4. Select the services the client should receive.

  5. When scenario visibility controls are shown, choose the advisor-created scenarios the client can see.

  6. Select CONFIRM.

  7. Ask the client to refresh the portal or sign in again.

Each service is granted separately. Full Financial Dashboard (Goals/Charts Only) does not provide unrestricted Planworth access, and Client Mode is separate from dashboard viewing. Client-created scenarios and advisor scenarios have different permissions.

Available services and scenario visibility

The options shown in Add Services For Client can include SideDrawer:, Wealth Insights (Tax/Estate Insights Roadmap):, Basic Financial Dashboard (Goals Only):, Full Financial Dashboard (Goals/Charts Only):, Discovery Tool:, and Client Mode (Client Scenario/Edit):. Use the exact options available in your workspace.

The Discovery Tool supports intake. Dashboard services provide the viewing experience named in the option.

Client Mode (Client Scenario/Edit) allows a client to create and edit client-created scenarios, while advisor-created scenarios remain locked. Service access and the advisor-created scenarios a client can view are separate choices.

For SideDrawer:, confirm the client experience shown in the workspace before relying on it for account connections. Portal access does not replace advisor review of submitted information, direct Evaluation maintenance, or a PDF report when a fixed plan version is needed.

If access is not visible

  • Confirm that the intended services and scenarios are selected.

  • Ask the client to refresh or sign in again.

  • Contact Planworth Support if the expected access remains unavailable.
