Create your first plan

Add a client, enter enough Evaluation data, and launch a Financial Insights scenario end to end.

Create a client, enter the facts needed for the plan, and launch the first scenario in Financial Insights.

Before you begin

  • Have the primary client's current details ready.

  • You can create the first scenario before the Evaluation reaches 100%.

1. Create the client

  1. On the Advisor Dashboard, select Add Client. A brand-new account shows Get Started By Adding Your First Client instead.

  2. In the Client Profile dialog, complete the visible fields, then select SAVE. After saving, open Family Info.

  3. In Family Info, use the available category and fields for each person, save if shown, and verify the household in Family Tree.

2. Enter the facts

  1. From the Client Dashboard, open Evaluations and choose Core or Pro. You land on Preliminary.

  2. Review the Preliminary checklist and the Evaluation sections shown.

  3. Enter the client information needed for the first plan, such as savings, income, property, and debt.

3. Create the scenario

  1. Open the client's Financial Insights. On a first visit with no scenarios, Planworth shows Creating scenario... and opens the setup wizard.

  2. Review the setup pages and use Continue to move through them. Set the Scenario Name on Base Assumptions.

  3. On the final setup page, select Launch Scenario. To create the scenario from the available defaults instead, select Skip and Create Scenario.

What happens next

Financial Insights opens the named scenario on the Dashboard.

Common issues

  • An Evaluation section is missing. Return to Preliminary and confirm that you opened the correct Core or Pro Evaluation.

  • An existing scenario does not reflect a later Evaluation edit. Review the scenario's Assumptions or create a new scenario.
