Use a controlled off-and-on comparison to see whether a toggle changes the open scenario, then trace the change to the relevant years in Details.
Before you begin
Confirm the intended scenario is open and the toggle form has been saved.
Compare the result
Find the toggle in Planning Inputs.
Turn the toggle off.
Note the relevant Dashboard value or chart for the years you expect to change.
Turn the toggle on.
Review the same Dashboard view without changing another input.
Open Summary → Toggle Review and confirm the toggle is included.
Open Details and select the table related to the affected account, cash flow, tax, asset, or debt.
Compare the same years you checked on the Dashboard.
Change one control at a time. If you edit assumptions, sliders, or another toggle during the comparison, you will not know which change produced the result.
If nothing changes
Confirm Current Scenario and the toggle's exact on/off state.
Open the toggle and record the saved account, person, asset, dates, and values that are shown.
Review Summary → Toggle Review.
Record any yellow warning state or message exactly as shown.
When available, open Analysis → Insights → Plan Review and record any Ineffective Toggles message and Review Toggle control.
In Details, compare the same row and year with the toggle off and on.
Analysis → Insights → Plan Review is different from the top Financial Insights Plan Review chart tab.
When to escalate
