When Generate PDF Report in Report Wizard is grey, the retirement goal is usually still loading, or it cannot run because information is missing.
Add the Retirement Goal page to test this. If that page says Loading... (This might take a while), the button stays grey until the goal finishes.
A large plan is still calculating
A plan with corporations or large account values can take longer, especially with tax optimization on. Some plans need 30 to 45 seconds. Stay on the report page and see if the button turns on. The same plans are also slow to open in Financial Insights.
Retirement age is missing
The retirement goal needs a retirement age for the client and for their spouse. Without it, the goal cannot run and Generate PDF Report stays grey.
In the Evaluation, open Income, then Salary, and confirm Expected Age of Retirement is filled in for each person, for example 62 and 63.
Career status is blank
A blank Career Status in Preliminary can also stop the retirement goal. If a person's income is not part of the plan, set Career Status to Retired rather than leaving it unanswered.
If the button is still grey
After the retirement ages and career statuses are filled in, and the retirement goal has finished loading, Generate PDF Report should become available.
If it is still grey, contact Planworth Support with the client, the scenario, and a screenshot of the wizard, including the Loading... message if it is still showing.
