In a shared workspace, access can depend on both your team role and your permission for a specific client.
The two access layers
Team role: Controls the Planworth functions available to a team member across the workspace.
Shared-client permission: Controls what the person can do with a particular household that has been shared with them.
A person may be able to open a client but still be unable to use a specific planning or reporting function.
If a control is missing
Confirm that the client is shared with the team member.
Confirm that the person's role includes the required function.
Ask the account administrator to review the role assignment and client access.
If the expected access is present but the control is still missing, contact Planworth Support with the client name and missing action.
Role settings do not add product capabilities that are unavailable under the workspace's Planworth access.
Important distinctions
Changing a team role can affect every person assigned to that role.
Access to a shared client applies to that household.
Advisor workspace permissions are separate from a client's access to Client Discovery or other client-facing services.
