How the Do Not Sell Asset toggle works

Protect a selected property, miscellaneous asset, or corporation shares from automatic shortfall sales.

Do Not Sell Asset is a What If toggle that prevents a selected property, miscellaneous asset, or corporation shares from being sold automatically to cover a shortfall during the dates you set.

Use Do Not Access Account for an account you do not want Planworth to draw from. These are separate controls.

Add and review the toggle

  1. Open the client's Financial Insights and confirm Current Scenario.

  2. Open Planning Inputs.

  3. Select Add Toggle / Strategy, then New Toggle.

  4. Choose What If and Do Not Sell Asset.

  5. Select the asset and complete the visible date or recurrence fields.

  6. Save the toggle.

  7. Confirm its name, selected asset, dates, and on/off state in Planning Inputs.

  8. Review Summary → Toggle Review and the affected years in Details.

Protecting an asset can leave a shortfall in the projection. Review any separate sale toggle for the same asset and years independently.
