How to resend, cancel, or replace a Client Discovery invitation

Resolve a Client Discovery invitation that was not received, was sent incorrectly, or needs to be replaced.

If a Client Discovery invitation was not received or was sent using the wrong email or path, check the client information first. You can then create the correct replacement or contact Planworth Support for help with the existing invitation.

If the invitation was not received

  1. Open Client Discovery from the Advisor Dashboard.

  2. Find the invitation in Client Invites and confirm that its status is Invited.

  3. Confirm the email address with the client.

  4. Ask the client to check junk or spam folders.

  5. If the address is wrong, correct it on the client record before creating a replacement.

Replace the invitation

Choose the path that matches the client's current situation:

  • Use + INVITE NEW CLIENT when the person does not have an existing client record.

  • Use + INVITE EXISTING CLIENT when the client already has a record with the correct email address.

  • Generate a Client Discovery signup URL when a self-serve link is appropriate.

The replacement follows the normal Invited to Completed status path.

Invitation statuses

  • Invited means the client has not completed Client Discovery. Confirm the email address and ask the client to finish the intake through Complete.

  • Completed means the client finished the intake. Review the submitted information in the Evaluation, correct or complete it as needed, and build or update a Financial Insights scenario only when the information is ready.

If another status appears, record its exact label and contact Planworth Support rather than assuming its meaning.

Resend or cancel the existing invitation

The standard verified Client Discovery workflow does not define a universal resend or cancel control. Contact Planworth Support if you need the existing invitation resent or cancelled, or if duplicate invitations need to be reviewed.

Include the client's name, the email address used, and whether the invitation should be resent, cancelled, or replaced. Do not include passwords or other sensitive information.
