A Financial Insights scenario combines client information with settings saved for that scenario. Planworth then shows the scenario through review surfaces such as Dashboard, Plan Review, Goals, Summary, Details, and Analysis.
How a scenario gets its values
A new scenario starts with current client information and applicable Advisor Settings.
A copied scenario keeps the values and toggles from the scenario that was copied.
Existing scenarios keep their saved assumptions when Advisor Settings change.
Saving some accounts or pension information in the Evaluation can update linked Auto-Generated toggles.
Sync with Advisor Settings on Rate of Return and Portfolios updates the supported return and portfolio fields, not the whole scenario.
There is no universal five-layer precedence rule. The plan uses the values saved on the selected scenario. A toggle that is on can replace its matching scenario assumption for the years it covers.
Trace a result
Confirm Current Scenario and the year you are reviewing.
Open Details and locate the relevant row.
Review active toggles, recent slider changes, and saved scenario assumptions.
Confirm whether the number comes from the main scenario or a specialized Analysis module.
If the result still appears inconsistent with visible settings, record the scenario, year, and row label for Planworth Support.
What this article does not define
